By now many have seen this picture...

Many have been duped into believing it's the storm/tornado that hit the Boy Scout Camp last WED the 11th...the picture IS REAL...it's been verified by others who have seen pictures in addition to this photo...BUT and this is a big one...it's NOT a picture of the storm that hit the camp...it IS a picture of a storm that hit the DAY BEFORE...here is some video evidence to take a look at...

So the picture is believed to be real but it's from the day before...here is the original newspaper link that shows the picture and has a brief article about the storm...

Newspaper Article...

So now you know...

Joe

You rockin' Joe? One thing I know that is real is the hail I got in Sunday evening in Leavenworth County! Dang! That stuff was big. I read your blog that day and was shocked about the severe weather I encountered. Here's what you said during the afternoon, all but declaring the severe weather was done.

"The worst of the storms are well south of the area now...the area that I'll be watching is from near Manhattan southeastwards towards Ft Scott..."

Guess you win some and lose some, and since I got some dingers in my car I'll call this a loss for you and me. Hopefully your next forecast is better. Rock on!

Snowracer-

The worst was off to our south. The storm you got was a hail producer but not the worst.

The hail was huge in Kearney and I'm not south at all. I now need a new roof. I watched Joe this past weekend and the chance of severe weather for the evening was said to be non existent where I live. After glancing thru the blog what I heard on TV that day was confirmed. I don't think it's a stretch to say this was a pretty big miss for those that rely on FOX for weather.
