GOOSEBUMPS!!!

You
don't want to miss this!

VERY INTERESTING-

1. The
Garden of Eden was in Iraq

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq , was the cradle of
civilization!

3. Noah built the ark in Iraq

4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq

5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq!

7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq

8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq

9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel

10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

11 Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem

12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq !

13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq
(Jesus had been in Iraq
also as the fourth person in the Fiery Furnace!)

14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the
'writing on the wall' in Iraq

15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq

16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq
...

17. The wise men were from Iraq
. .

18.. Peter preached in Iraq

.

19. The 'Empire of Man' described in Revelation is called Babylon
, which was a city in Iraq !

And you have probably seen this one: Israel is the nation most often
mentioned in the Bible.

But do
you know which nation is second?

It is Iraq !

However,
that is not the name that is used in the Bible..

The
names used in the Bible are Babylon , Land of Shinar
, and Mesopotamia
... The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between
the Tigris And Euphrates
Rivers .

The name
Iraq
, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq
is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel
, has more history and prophecy associated

With it than Iraq

And also, This is something to think about:
Since America is
typically represented by an eagle.

Saddam
should have read up on his Muslim passages
...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran
(
9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the
Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the
people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle
cleansed the lands of Allah;

And there
was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!

And to think the founding fathers had originally chosen a Beagle to represent the nation!

Good thing the "B" was left off in the manual copying of the papers.

Maybe spelling and accuracy doesn't matter!

I've never heard that a Beagle was nearly chosen to represent our nation. That's news to me. Where did you get that information?? I wish I had the article that reminds us how the average brain can read a sentence without any vowels added. It is very interesting. It would really blow your mind mpvan. I also had a typing test one time that we had to do without using vowels, yet you knew the content of what the test paragraph was as you typed it! That was one of the hardest tests I had to take - - for a prestigious company I was applying for a job with!

I made it all up in parody, because I don't believe any of other than coincidence. Just like the list of similarities between Lincoln/Kennedy and their vice presidents.

Look hard enough, particularly in any biblical/Koran reference, and you'll find it.

What you're discussing is the basic premise of phone texting.

mpvan, I have to give you credit for upholding your ever present skepticism. You can always be counted on to poo poo just about anything. Were you born that way or is it an acquired trait?

Actually the Eagle was chosen the official American bird over the.....Turkey! in 1789.

Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey.

It took them 6 years to decide.

Beagle, Turkey. Both graceful but the bird has more uses towards the end of Nov.

Ha, years and years of reality, plus watching things like: America's funniest home video's, nightly news, cnn.com you name it--people are funny and will say and believe ANYTHING. They tend to go with rumors over fact, and seem to spend absolutely no time researching much. "I heard......and then passing it off as fact is a favorite of mine. The internet is great but perpetuates these kinds of things, so does digital photography.

Thought the cops were your friends....why all the police misconduct lately? Or is it just as much and everyone has a cell phone camera?

The priests and their altar boy thing going on, and the payoffs involved....priceless! I mean literally...priceless. Not a MC plug!

Just remember...Think of how stupid the average person is...and half of them are stupider than that! Thanx, George C

Do you consider yourself an "average person"? And what does "phone texting", "digital photograpy" and "cell phone cameras" have to do with this blog? There was a world out there before all the electronic gadgets, you know. Or is it just that you can't to relate to anything our of that catagory?
Who was the "Thanx George C for, George Carlin?

BTW there is no such word as "stupider".

Mabell thanks for sharing. Although some may mock this blog, in a time of great turmoil I find it of comfort. Yes... I believe in God unconditionally. I follow blind because that is what faith is to me. But can you believe this... I can also belive in evolution for it does not state how long Gods seven days were nor exactly how he created man. Oh sorry Maball, started rambling.

But really, how can anyone not at least read the history of Iraq and not find it fascinating? Or is it just the fact it comes from the bible, that people even care to mock it? Your right to do so, however as I will not change your mind, nor will I in my belief in God.

BTW- God Bless America and Joe to... just for mvpan. (that was in jest not a crude remark just my dry humor)

BeStrong, I appreciate your comment. None of us "know" exactly, what we read in the Bible because it's interpretation. That's where faith comes in and I for one, will never give up my faith. Faith to me is believing in something that you don't know positively and feeling comforted because of it.

No offense mabell, but I'm never amazed at what people will take at face value.

Your post is actually a chain letter that has been circulating for a short while.

Please go to and read the info at this website;

As for faith, I believe that everyone should have faith in something, just not blind faith.

As far as the quote "And there
was peace." could you please show me somewhere in Iraq that there is peace?

Stephen, I wondered when you would respond to this. I thought that the "coincidences", referred to by mpvan were interesting, whether it's in the form of a chain letter or whatever.
I appreciate your view on "faith". However, my view is that faith is blind. It's believing in something that you know nothing absolutely about.
I wish I could show you where there is peace in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Israel, etc. There isn't and I honestly don't believe that we can do anything about it. These religious wars have existed since the beginning of time, as we know it. What's your view on the out come?

I too wish that there could be a peaceful outcome in the Iraq war.

Generally speaking, I believe that there will be religious wars until there is either no religion or no people left to fight each other.

Specifically speaking, we (Americans) will win nothing in this war. All we are doing now is policing a civil war. I have watched a couple of documentaries and talked to a couple of people that have returned. The Iraqi military are very reluctant to fire on their own people. This war will end worse than the Vietnam war did, if it will ever end at all.

My biggest fear is that one of my children, grand-children, or worse yet, one of my great grand-children will lose their life in the middle east on the premise of protecting American interests over there.

Well that's my opinion. Thanks for the opportunity to give it here.

Stephen, this might come as a huge surprise to you, but I couldn't agree more. The "Police Action" in Korea, the Vietnam war that we were involved in and for what? We didn't win anything and I don't believe the conflicts that still exist in those countries are still going on, is there ever an end to conflict? My opinion is a resounding NO.

Mabell Stupider is a direct quote from George C, it is not my word but it fits.

"God Bless America" contradicts God's teachings of divine judgement of nations. It is blasphemous to say. It implies God has chosen America over other nations as his favorite, when we all know she is in the UK saving the Queen.

Why would God choose all these nations to bless when there are over 200 others. Favoritism? Self indulgence...etc.

See my blog post, that Fox 4 won't publish, about God Bless America.

Stephenthe Heathen, the bible tells us there will be wars and rumors of wars. There's also a scripture that reads about holy wars will exist until Jesus returns to claim His own. About "blind faith". Christians do believe in blind faith. We can't see it, but we just know. You feel it in your heart. We can't see "air" but we believe in it and we need it. That's the way Christians feel about Jesus Christ. God bless.

Hi Busybee,

As a former Christian I know very well how Christians feel about Jesus. One of my points is just what you said, you're basing your faith on feelings and "but we just know" kind of things. "Air" has been proven to exist, an omnipotent, intangible, silent God has not.

I have found that most people have researched buying a car or a house more than their own religion.

As far as Biblical prophecies go please read my post and comments on "The Heathen Prophet".

Thank you for the blessing, have a good day Busybee.

Stephen- I am curious. What should people research about religion? I fully understand not every faith is for everybody. It matters not to me what faith or non faith someone is. Everyone is different.

But everything does not have to have a scientifical explanation... for everyone and that is where in my opiniom faith comes in.

May I ask also; everytime you get in a car do you not have an assumption you will not die in a wreck? Is this not in some way a blind faith? Because if you knew you were going to be killed would you still get in that car? Its not a proven fact you won't die but you do it anyway.... why?

Hi BeStrong,

I agree with you that "It matters not to me what faith or non faith someone is." as long as that faith (or non-faith) is making you a better person and that you are not being a hypocrite by not following your own 'Holy Rule Book'. That is one of the reasons for my post "You're a Christian?". Everyone is different is evident with all of the different religions and branches of these religions.

For me, I researched my former religion because I wanted to know the truth. As for anyone else let me ask this question; What if you had lived your whole life and then at the end of it all you found out that you were living a lie all along, regardless of what faith you are? What faith you are born into has everything to do with it, what's the scientific term for that - memes I think.

Faith covers what can't be explained. But shouldn't that be the way it should work - find out everything scientifically and historically possible first and then if you buy into that belief, take the rest on faith? Most people do that the other way around, if at all.

Hope I get your point in your last thought. Getting into that car and knowing that there is a possibility of dying out on the road and doing it anyway, isn't blind faith to me. There are a lot of variables involved and with that said the way I look at it is that my being in a life-ending accident is nothing more than a mathematical probability and of course a statistical one. Sorry, I tried my best to answer that one.

Good questions BeStrong, hope that these are good answers for you.

Stephen- I think you know I do not parade my religion and expect others to believe. I even have debated what some would consider agianst my faith. I do not find it fair others throw their religion in someone's face like if you do not believe the way I do your a moron. To each their own.

I do not look for scientific reasoning in my religion. Thats just me. I do not find it wrong. I have studied other religions and perhaps of my background will not change, BUT I do not condem others for the faith or non.

As for the reason you drive, point taken.

As always I appreciate we can differ in opinion and not get nasty. That is what makes a good debate.
