Kasey Kahne sits on the pole for this weeks Pocono 500.Kyle Busch who qualified 10th will have to start from the rear as he crashed his primary car in practice,his borther Kurt who qualified 11th will take the 10 spot who was 6th in final practice.Carl Edwards who starts 6th had the fastest car in practice2 and Final practice,Kasey had the 2nd fastest in final along with Jimmie Johnson who starts 2nd and was 8th quickest in final pratice.What all this tells me is this is shaping up to be an AWESOME race this afternoon in the Pocono's of Pennsylvania.My pick,(although cousin Carl could pull it off this weekend) will go to the man starting from the 7th position. Gordon who starts in 34th or 35th spot will do good to pull off a top 10.

Budweiser has to be happy they went with Kahne instead of Jr. At least tehy are getting their name in the winner's circle. Jr. may be 3rd in points but is a huge disappointment to say the least.

As far as the popularity of Jr. it is mainly due to his daddy's legacy. He has not been in the winner's circle in quite some time. It seems he has taken a different tactic towards the points championship. He is being more conservative and settling for a top 10 finish rather than going for the win.

Sure Bud would like to sponsor him with his popularity but if he doesn't win, he will fade off like many other drivers have in the past. Companies and fans want to be associated with a winner, except for maybe Kyle Busch.

Oh wow Jr. couldent win because of the crap engines in his car. They blew half of the time it not his fault it the companies.
