Racist, boring
Mexicans that started the painting on the walls first, by tagging their territories and listing their latino gang name, not racist. Go there..........
Like I said corruption, people are getting tired of it, even the kids, shame on you, next time don't get caught. (three monkey rule your president practices it all the time see no evil,................. it works for the Latino group.
Politicians are to blame for moving their Latino cocaine supplying crowd into Independence, MO. and making crime worse. So don't blame the kids.............
Drinking at a younger age limit, are they stupid, do they have any brains before they open their mouths, adults come up with this stuff, are they inhaling, snorting, or peace piping. If I had a student enrolled in those schools I would ask for a full refund, and send them some where else.
Imagine the mental anguish suffered by Sasquatch devotees worldwide, as the latest Bigfoot carcass turns out to be a cheap rubber gorilla suit.
(AP) Turns out Bigfoot was just a rubber suit.
Two researchers on a quest to prove the existence of Bigfoot say that the carcass encased in a block of ice - handed over to them for an undisclosed sum by two men who claimed to have found it - was slowly thawed out, and discovered to be a rubber gorilla outfit.
The revelation comes just days after a much ballyhooed news conference was held in California to proclaim that the remains of the creature found in the North Georgia mountains was the legendary man-ape.
Steve Kulls, executive director of squatchdetective.com and host of Squatchdetective Radio, says in a posting on a Web site run by Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi that as the “evidence” was thawed, the claim began to unravel as a giant hoax.
First, the hair sample was burned and “melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair,” Kulls said in the posting. The thawing process was sped up and the exposed head was found to be “unusually hollow in one small section.” An hour of thawing later and the feet were exposed - and they were found to be made of rubber.
A dead giveaway.
Mayor Reimal, maybe you should reconsider your policy on the criminal and immigration network system that Kansas City, MO adopted for their police force. What is a few thousand a month to keep your citizens safe, when your spending all that money to build a new Arena. Your cities illegal rate jumped in the last two years and so did your crime rates, got a clue yet. You need to get rid of some of those families that have the new 30-40,000.00 vehicles with the 20 inch chrome wheels and the junker car in the drive. Hint: The new vehicle was bought with drug money and the junker is used to move the drugs without GPS, they usually rotate those periodically. Other hint: Check previous addresses or history and you will find some KC,KS patrons, long noted for their criminal activity. So maybe some of the actions your seeing lately are retaliation from a public for a political office that is not properly doing their job, not that I condone the behavior, just saying a probable cause. Had any drive bys lately?
By the way if you do not "notice" these people taking up residents in your neighborhood does that mean Bradley will get a front position in the rail system, him being a "metro" man and all, and does that mean that all "Lakewood" junkies will be guaranteed their "fix", and share in money laundering. Do your part to keep America safe.
Neighbors of mine have a dead dog in the back yard -been there for 3 days called action center said no one will come out and get it because it is private property, yet im missing out on this beautiful weather cause none of us neighbors can sit out side because of the smell, makes me want to throw up,what i dont understand is why the people that owned the dog are just leaving it there, talked to the action center again today they say it is in neighborhood preservation hands, what about animal control, isnt this a health issue as well.thern the action center tells me well there is nothing we can do our hands are tied,if the action centers hand are always tied on so many issues then what good are they ?now they tell me that someone is on their way,to give the owner of the dog an option get rid of the dog or you get a ticket, what if they choose the ticket ?then i guess we still have a rotting dead dog carcaus in their yard and we all still have to stay inside ,talk about being a prisoner in your own home -and the action center is the warden.i dont know what to do if they dont come and get the dog.i guess the smell will go away in a few weeks.

Marriage is NOT a religious institution. You can walk into ANY church anywhere is the United States and say marriage vows, but it will NOT mean a thing UNLESS you have a GOVERNMENT issued license saying it is OKAY for you to marry. Even couples living together (unmarried) are LEGALLY recognized as common law spouses by the GOVERNMENT after a certain length of time, but NOT by the Church. So why is it that the religious community believe they have a RIGHT to say who can, and who can not be Married? That RIGHT is expressly and obviously instituted by our Government.
This is another instance where CHURCH and STATE should absolutely be separated and Gay Marriage allowed as any other marriage is ALLOWED- by and through our Government. There should be NO permission granted by the religious community as to whether Gay couples can marry or not. I agree the religious community has the right to limit or deny the ceremony within their own churches, synagogues, or mosques, but they have NO right to limit marriage within our communities.
A hot air balloon explosion claims the life of a Wright County man.
The Highway Patrol says it happened around 8:30 Sunday morning near Mountain Grove. That's where four men were taking turns riding in a hot air balloon that was tied to a pick-up truck.
When Bill Blair, 49, went up, a propane tank on board started leaking, causing an explosion and fire. Blair reportedly jumped from about 75 feet up and died.
Another man, Elmer Lane, 35, tried to pull Blair from the burning wreckage and was injured by another exploding tank.
Lane is recovering at a Springfield hospital.
The Highway Patrol says the group was not experienced in this kind of flight. The agency has notified the FAA.
Witnesses call Blair a good friend and a hard worker who ran a construction company. Sunday's crash has people in the hot air balloon business talking. We spoke with Shane Robinson, the owner of Balloon Sport USA.
Robinson's company was not affiliated with today's accident, but after twenty years experience in the sky, he says he knows about the safety needed to pilot a balloon.
Robinson tells us balloon accidents are actually very rare when compared to the number of flights each year.
The industry is regulated by the FAA. Anyone who flies a hot air balloon must have training and a license from that agency.
I tried three times tonight to log on to my Bank of America account to make a payment and 3 times I received a message that said " WE ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST" so I tried to call them to find out what the problem was. I GOT A MESSAGE IN SPANISH BEFORE I GOT A MESSAGE IN ENGLISH telling me that their system is down.
I don't know about you but I'm not going to pay my Bank of America bill anymore.
This is America and we speak ENGLISH here. I'm not paying anyone who puts SPANISH before ENGLISH in this country!
EPA on HOW TO CLEAN UP A NEW LIGHTBULB.
Humans use mercury in a variety of manufacturing processes and products such as thermometers and fluorescent bulbs. If you improperly dispose of products with mercury in them, they may break and release mercury vapors which are harmful to human and ecological health.
Never use a vacuum cleaner to clean up mercury (but see the "What to Do if a Fluorescent Light Bulb Breaks" section below for more specific instructions about vacuuming broken fluorescent light bulbs). The vacuum will put mercury into the air and increase exposure.
Never use a broom to clean up mercury. It will break the mercury into smaller droplets and spread them.
Never pour mercury down a drain. It may lodge in the plumbing and cause future problems during plumbing repairs. If discharged, it can cause pollution of the septic tank or sewage treatment plant.
You can, however, wash clothing or other materials that have been exposed to the mercury vapor from a broken CFL, like the clothing you happened to be wearing when you cleaned up the broken CFL, as long as that clothing has not come into direct contact with the materials from the broken bulb.
Compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) are lighting more homes than ever before, and EPA is encouraging Americans to use and recycle them safely. Carefully recycling CFLs prevents the release of mercury into the environment and allows for the reuse of glass, metals and other materials that make up fluorescent lights.
EPA is continually reviewing its clean-up and disposal recommendations for CFLs to ensure that the Agency presents the most up-to-date information for consumers and businesses. Maine's Department of Environmental Protection released a CFL breakage study report
on February 25, 2008. EPA has conducted an initial review of this study and, as a result of this review, we have updated the CFL cleanup instructions below.
Pending the completion of a full review of the Maine study, EPA will determine whether additional changes to the cleanup recommendations are warranted. The agency plans to conduct its own study on CFLs after thorough review of the Maine study.
Fluorescent light bulbs contain a very small amount of mercury sealed within the glass tubing. EPA recommends the following clean-up and disposal below. Please also read the information on this page about what never to do with a mercury spill. Before Clean-up: Air Out the RoomClean-Up Steps for Hard Surfaces
Clean-up Steps for Carpeting or Rug
Clean-up Steps for Clothing, Bedding and Other Soft Materials
Disposal of Clean-up Materials
Future Cleaning of Carpeting or Rug: Air Out the Room During and After Vacuuming
Have everyone else leave the area; don't let anyone walk through the mercury on their way out. Make sure all pets are removed from the area. Open all windows and doors to the outside; shut all doors to other parts of the house.
DO NOT allow children to help you clean up the spill.
Mercury can be cleaned up easily from the following surfaces: wood, linoleum, tile and any similarly smooth surfaces.
If a spill occurs on carpet, curtains, upholstery or other absorbent surfaces, these contaminated items should be thrown away in accordance with the disposal means outlined below. Only cut and remove the affected portion of the contaminated carpet for disposal.
Put on rubber, nitrile or latex gloves.
If there are any broken pieces of glass or sharp objects, pick them up with care. Place all broken objects on a paper towel. Fold the paper towel and place in a zip lock bag. Secure the bag and label it as directed by your local health or fire department.
Locate visible mercury beads. Use a squeegee or cardboard to gather mercury beads. Use slow sweeping motions to keep mercury from becoming uncontrollable. Take a flashlight, hold it at a low angle close to the floor in a darkened room and look for additional glistening beads of mercury that may be sticking to the surface or in small cracked areas of the surface. Note: Mercury can move surprising distances on hard-flat surfaces, so be sure to inspect the entire room when "searching."
Use the eyedropper to collect or draw up the mercury beads. Slowly and carefully squeeze mercury onto a damp paper towel. Place the paper towel in a zip lock bag and secure. Make sure to label the bag as directed by your local health or fire department.
After you remove larger beads, put shaving cream on top of small paint brush and gently "dot" the affected area to pick up smaller hard-to-see beads. Alternatively, use duct tape to collect smaller hard-to-see beads. Place the paint brush or duct tape in a zip lock bag and secure. Make sure to label the bag as directed by your local health or fire department.
OPTIONAL STEP: It is OPTIONAL to use commercially available powdered sulfur to absorb the beads that are too small to see. The sulfur does two things: (1) it makes the mercury easier to see since there may be a color change from yellow to brown and (2) it binds the mercury so that it can be easily removed and suppresses the vapor of any missing mercury. Where to get commercialized sulfur? It may be supplied as mercury vapor absorbent in mercury spill kits, which can be purchased from laboratory, chemical supply and hazardous materials response supply manufacturers. Note: Powdered sulfur may stain fabrics a dark color. When using powdered sulfur, do not breathe in the powder as it can be moderately toxic. Additionally, users should read and understand product information before use.
If you choose not to use this option, you may want to request the services of a contractor who has monitoring equipment to screen for mercury vapors. Consult your local environmental or health agency to inquire about contractors in your area. Place all materials used with the cleanup, including gloves, in a trash bag. Place all mercury beads and objects into the trash bag. Secure trash bag and label it as directed by your local health or fire department.
Contact your local health department, municipal waste authority or your local fire department for proper disposal in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
Remember to keep the area well ventilated to the outside (i.e., windows open and fans in exterior windows running) for at least 24 hours after your successful cleanup. Continue to keep pets and children out of cleanup area. If sickness occurs, seek medical attention immediately. View information on health effects related to exposures to vapors from metallic mercury. For additional information on health effects, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) provides a Mercury Fact Sheet
that also presents information on health effects related to exposures to vapors from metallic mercury.
Recommendation: If there are young children or pregnant women in the house, seek additional advice from your local or state health or state environmental agency.
Spills of More than the Amount in a Thermometer, but Less Than or Similar to Two Tablespoons (One Pound) Cleanup Instructions1. Have everyone else leave the area; don't let anyone walk through the mercury on their way out.
2. Open all windows and doors to the outside.
3. Turn down the temperature.
4. Shut all doors to other parts of the house, and leave the area.
Don't vacuum.
5. Call your local or state health or environmental agency.
Any time one pound or more of mercury is released to the environment, it is mandatory to call the National Response Center (NRC). The NRC hotline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call (800) 424-8802. Note that because mercury is heavy, only two tablespoons of mercury weigh about one pound.
HOW IS THIS BETTER???? ANYONE?

A US company claims it is ready to build a microwave ray gun able to beam sounds directly into people's heads.
The device – dubbed MEDUSA (Mob Excess Deterrent Using Silent Audio) – exploits the microwave audio effect, in which short microwave pulses rapidly heat tissue, causing a shockwave inside the skull that can be detected by the ears. A series of pulses can be transmitted to produce recognisable sounds.
The device is aimed for military or crowd-control applications, but may have other uses.
Lev Sadovnik of the Sierra Nevada Corporation in the US is working on the system, having started work on a US navy research contract. The navy's report states that the effect was shown to be effective.
Scarecrow beam?MEDUSA involves a microwave auditory effect "loud" enough to cause discomfort or even incapacitation. Sadovnik says that normal audio safety limits do not apply since the sound does not enter through the eardrums.
"The repel effect is a combination of loudness and the irritation factor," he says. "You can’t block it out."
Sadovnik says the device will work thanks to a new reconfigurable antenna developed by colleague Vladimir Manasson. It steers the beam electronically, making it possible to flip from a broad to a narrow beam, or aim at multiple targets simultaneously.
Sadovnik says the technology could have non-military applications. Birds seem to be highly sensitive to microwave audio, he says, so it might be used to scare away unwanted flocks.
Sadovnik has also experimented with transmitting microwave audio to people with outer ear problems that impair their normal hearing.
Brain damage riskJames Lin of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Illinois in Chicago says that MEDUSA is feasible in principle.
He has carried out his own work on the technique, and was even approached by the music industry about using microwave audio to enhance sound systems, he told New Scientist.
"But is it going to be possible at the power levels necessary?" he asks. Previous microwave audio tests involved very "quiet" sounds that were hard to hear, a high-power system would mean much more powerful – and potentially hazardous – shockwaves.
"I would worry about what other health effects it is having," says Lin. "You might see neural damage."
Sierra Nevada says that a demonstration version could be built in a year, with a transportable system following within 18 months. They are currently seeking funding for the work from the US Department of Defence.

POINTS OF DRUG CARTEL INVASION IN THE united States, BROUGHT ON BY DEVASTATION TO THE AREAS FIRST, KATRINA SPECIFICALLY. iF DEVESTATION CAN BE BROUGHT ABOUT THEN CORRUPTION CAN RULE. i VIEWED THOSE STRANGE WHITE LINES IN THE SKY A DOUBLE BAND THAT WAS WIDER THAN MOST I HAVE SEEN BEFORE AND THAT LINGERED LONG AFTER ANY PLANE FLEW OVER , i ASKED THE PERSON WITH ME IF THEY SAW A PLANE ANYWHERE, NO, THIS WAS OFF OF 52 HWY, AROUND THE FIRST OF MAY IN THE AREA SOUTH OF THE AIRPORT, THEN, TWO WEEKS LATER, A TORNADO WIPED OUT HOMES IN THE LIBERTY AREA. since THEN I HAVE NOTICED THE SAME THING, I WILL START TAKING PICTURES OF THE WIDTH OF THESE WHITE LINES AND THE TIME LAPSE THAT WEATHER CHANGES OCCUR, I DO BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A CONNECTION AND I THINK IT IS BEING USED. SO MY QUESTION IS WHY, IS IT THE SAME REASON WHY OUR ADMINISTRATION HAS IGNORED THE DANGEROUS CARTEL FROM MEXICO WITH THE THREAT OF BEING AND JOINING TERRIOSTS. wHY WOULD BUSH ADD COLUMBIA TO NAFTA, WHEN IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT MEXICO USED THEIR TRACTOR TRAILERS TO BRING DRUGS, ILLEGALS INTO AMERICA, WHY HAS THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION PROVED THEIR "WAR AGAINST TERRIOST" IS NOTHING MORE THAN A LIE. DID WE WIN, I DO NOT THINK SO, DID WE GET BS, NOW THAT I CAN BELIEVE.

Air Force Aims for Weather Control
Someday the U.S. military could drive a trailer to a spot just beyond insurgent fighting and, within minutes, reconfigure part of the atmosphere, blocking an enemy's ability to receive satellite signals, even as U.S. troops are able to see into the area with radar.
"This scenario may not be far away," says Defense Tech pal Sharon Weinberger in this month's edition of the always-excellent Defense Technology International.
An engineer with Research Support Instruments in Princeton, N.J. recently completed the first phase of work for a U.S. Air Force sponsored project called Microwave Ionosphere Reconfiguration Ground based Emitter, or Mirage. (scroll down)
The work involves using plasma — an ionized gas — to reconfigure the ionosphere. Mirage would employ a microwave transmitter on the ground and a small rocket that shoots chaff into the air to produce about a liter of plasma at 60-100 km. (36- 60 mi.) in altitude, changing the number of electrons in a select area of the ionosphere to create a virtual barrier. Ionosphere reconfiguration offers two major applications of interest to the military: bouncing radars off the ionosphere, also known as over-the-horizon radar, and the ability to jam signals from the Global Positioning Satellite system, according to John Kline, the lead investigator for Mirage.
This work is only the latest effort in Kline's more extensive investigations of atmospheric plasmas… Before Mirage, Kline had another contract for a project called Plasma Point Defense, which explored the possibility of using a plasma weapon on board a U.S. Navy surface vessel to protect against threats ranging from surface-to-surface missiles to mortars and rocket-propelled grenades.
In the past, NASA's fringe science arm has looked into tweaking Mother Nature, to throw hurricanes off their course. But those were just computer simulations. No one actually tried to go out a build some weather control machine.
