I enjoy an occasional energy drink such as a red bull every once in a while.  But this new drink that I have seen promotional posters for at my local gas station, is taking it to a new extreme.

Its getting close to opening day, and it got me thinking, what is your favorite baseball movie?  I have a few.

Major League - It is quoted at least once at any baseball game in America - "JUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDE"

Field of Dreams - I want to make a weekend trip to go see the actual field.  I think its in Iowa somewhere.

For the Love of the Game - Kevin Costner makes good baseball movies.

The Natural - He knocks the freakin' cover off of the freakin' ball.  Then breaks the lights at the end of the game.  Awesome.

 

So I spent 8 years in Manhattan, 4 in school, 4 at work and I am a DIE HARD K-State fan. I am expecting a good game tomorrow night at Allen Fieldhouse. If the Cats can play the same tough, physical ball they have been playing these last 7 games, its going to be tough for KU to get a win tomorrow. I know they haven't lost back to back games at Allen Fieldhouse since the mid 80's but I'm still crossing my fingers and wearing my purple all day. GO CATS!

Anyone know what happened at I-70 Eastbound and between HW 40 and 57th Street exits at around 7:30AM this morning (1/30). Got caught in a little backup on the way to work and I didn't see what was causing the problem.

I think it is exciting that the President is coming to KC. I wish he would have done things different with the war on terrorism, but, that was in the past and there is nothing different we can do about it. I personally would have kept the war in Afghanistan until we captured Bin Laden and the Taliban. But that's just me. I think Bush saw a credible threat in Iraq, and took it out. It was based on poor intelligence... and decades of bad foreign relations to the Middle East region is not helping our situation out at all. To place all the blame on this one man and on the Republican Party is ludicrous. So, I'm excited for him to come to Kansas City. I respect him as a man who puts up with so much nonsense (yelling, “F-U Bush” at his inauguration for one) from his constituents, but still pursues what he believes is right day in and day out. And I think that is a very admirable trait in our president. I'll be watching on-line at myfoxkc.com.
