Why Thursdays?

In the last few years, I've noticed something rather odd. When it comes to severe weather during the warm times, it seems that more often than not, all the storms tend to happen on Thursdays, sometimes every Thursday for a few weeks. Sure it may look like an odd coincidence, but I gotta ask, why does these storms happen more often on Thursday than any other day of the week?

It's Mother Nature's way of trying to get people off the couch and doing other things. Part of some health and welfare fad. Thursday has historically been a big night for TV. So we'll see if it helps reduce weitght along the way. It is weird though how these things do create a cycle. Lately, though it is raining every other night. Just ask Iowa.

And on trash days, it is always really windy.
