Do you still think McCain-Palin is the best choice? Do we want someone who is so openly racist in the White House?
Think before you vote, folks.
Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper): Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, And Mean”
September 5, 2008
by Charley James –
“So Sambo beat the BOOGEDY!”
This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin
described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political
colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the
Democratic Party presidential nomination.
According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and
who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch
with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary
battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at
nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed
loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.
“It was kind of disgusting,” Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said
in a phone interview after admitting that she is frightened of being
discovered telling folks in the “lower 48” about life near the North
Pole.
Then, almost with a sigh, she added, “But that’s just Alaska.”
Racial and ethnic slurs may be “just Alaska” and, clearly, they are common, everyday chatter for Palin.

Just a few weeks ago, McCain said, "The fundamentals of the economy are strong."
Now, we are in "a crisis" and he will focus his campaign on the "economy and jobs."
How can he focus on the economy and jobs when he doesn't even understand there is a problem?
How can he possibly understand the problem when he has 7 homes and can't remember how many he has?
How can he understand the problem when his running mate spent $150,000 on clothes, makeup and hair? Clothes that she will wear a few weeks and then "donate to Goodwill." How wasteful! Good for Goodwill, but still wasteful!
The dress Cindy McCain wore to the RNC was $300,000. Will she ever wear it again? Probably not.
More wasteful spending.
This country cannot afford 4 more years of someone who doesn't understand the people on Main Street.

From The Kansas City Star....this is too good. So embarrassing for the parents, but funny from this end of the field.
NEW CASTLE — A report of a family fight Wednesday afternoon in New Castle
didn't turn out to be what police expected.
A nine-year-old girl called 911 after she awoke from a nap and heard her mother
screaming. She went to her mother's bedroom and thought her mother was being
attacked.
Turns out, her parents were just enjoying marital relations.
But the New Castle Police Department responded to the little girl's call,
and even filed a report, noting "Mom and Daddy were involved in a romantic
moment and daughter mistook them as fighting."

What horrors these kids are facing! Shocking! Unacceptable!
For those of you who don't know me, that was sarcasm.
From FOX News:
SALT LAKE CITY —
Sadie and Pyper Vance have had just about enough of
high gas prices. The sisters are still years away from being old enough to
drive, but that doesn't mean the $4 per gallon price tag isn't hitting them as
hard as anyone else.
Cable TV was one of the family's budget-cutting casualties, leaving Sadie,
9, and her 7-year-old sister without their favorite cartoons and shows.
"Gas prices are too high," Sadie said. "I just decided to
come and protest so they'd go down."
The girls marched through downtown Monday chanting and carrying signs made
from old campaign signs.
"All of my mom's monny goes to the gas tank!" Pyper's sign read.
Sadie carried a sign asking drivers to honk to lower gas prices — adding that
her mom had to cut "cabel."
The girls got some waves and a few thumbs-up to show support.
"I think it's great," said Hamid Tayeb, who was walking past on
his lunch break. "It's unfortunate that kids are doing it before we
do."

David Cook is just a person, folks. He may have won American Idol, but nonetheless, he is only human. Stop kissing the ground he walks on!
If having someone from our area win AI is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to you, you need to get a life!
